The Kure Method® is a structured integrative framework for practitioners. It organises multidisciplinary knowledge — clinical hypnosis, NLP, transformational coaching and applied positive psychology — into one sequence of six phases, taught as a programme of study with defined learning outcomes and a final assessment.

By the end of the programme, students should be able to:

04Integrate hypnosis, NLP, coaching and applied positive psychology within one structured practitioner framework.

05Apply screening, contracting and scope-of-practice procedures before any inward work begins.

06Demonstrate a full session from Ground to Keep, including depth testing, safe emergence and review.

07Evaluate a client's progress against three countable markers agreed in the Name phase.

08Reflect critically on your own recorded sessions and revise your practice after supervision.

09Demonstrate understanding of professional boundaries, ethics and the limits of this certificate.

From theory to application

The distance between knowing and doing is where most training stops.

The curriculum is designed to move you beyond passive content consumption. You progress from foundational concepts towards integration, applied reasoning and practical application.

Each stage builds on the one before it, so understanding accumulates instead of scattering. That is the whole point of studying one methodology rather than collecting six.

Foundations of the method

Six foundational domains hold the framework together.

Domain

Structure

Definition: A fixed order of six phases used in every session.
Purpose: Removes improvisation and makes your work repeatable and reviewable.
Role in the methodology: The spine of the methodology; every other domain hangs from it.
Practical relevance: You always know which phase you are in and what it needs next.

Domain

Language

Definition: Precision in what the client says and in what you say back.
Purpose: Turns a vague complaint into a defined, workable statement.
Role in the methodology: Carries the Name and Map phases.
Practical relevance: Better questions produce better material to work with.

Domain

State

Definition: The client's level of absorption and internal focus.
Purpose: Creates the conditions in which change work can land.
Role in the methodology: Governs the Meet and Turn phases.
Practical relevance: Depth is tested, not assumed.

Change

Definition: The deliberate revision of a pattern, rehearsed in context.
Purpose: Moves the client from insight into a different response.
Role in the methodology: The intervention core of the method.
Practical relevance: Understanding alone does not alter behaviour. Rehearsal does.

Consolidation

Definition: The practices that hold a change in place after the session.
Purpose: Protects the work during the week the client goes home.
Role in the methodology: Completes the Keep phase.
Practical relevance: Most change is lost after the session, not inside it.

Ethics

Definition: Scope, consent, boundaries and honest measurement.
Purpose: Keeps the practitioner and the client safe.
Role in the methodology: Present in every phase, decided in Ground.
Practical relevance: It tells you clearly when to refer rather than continue.

Ground — screening, contracting, scope

Overview

The clinical and ethical foundations of the first phase: who this work suits, what is agreed in writing, and when to refer on.

MODULE 03Intermediate level · Weeks 5–6

Name — the problem in the client's words

Overview

Transformational coaching methods for turning a vague complaint into a defined, measurable working statement.

Map — how the pattern runs

Overview

Precision NLP applied to sequence analysis: the trigger, the internal representation, and the exception that proves the pattern is not constant.

Meet — inward work

Overview

Clinical hypnosis practice: absorption, depth testing, hand signals, and safe conduct throughout the inward phase.

Turn — the change itself

Overview

The intervention phase, where hypnosis and NLP are used together: the shift, the rehearsal, the anchor and the cue.

MODULE 08Assessment · Weeks 15–16

Whole sessions, supervision and final assessment

Complete sessions from Ground to Keep under supervision, followed by the written case study and the oral assessment.

Applied component

Submit a recorded session and a written case study, then sit the oral assessment.

Assessment and certification

Nobody receives a certificate for watching.

Purpose of assessment

To confirm that you can run the method as taught, explain your reasoning, and work within your scope.

Format

One written case study from a complete Ground-to-Keep session, plus an oral assessment with me.

Criteria

Correct phase sequence, documented consent, defined markers, an appropriate intervention, a consolidation plan, and honest reporting of what did and did not change.

Retake policy

If the assessment is not passed, I give written notes and you may resubmit once at no extra cost.

Academic integrity

The case study must be your own session. Fabricated cases or submitted work that is not yours ends the certification.

Certificate requirements

Completion of all eight modules, one supervised recorded session, the case study, and the oral assessment.

What the certificate certifies

Completion of The Kure Method® curriculum and successful demonstration of the required practitioner knowledge, assessed by me.

What it does not provide

It does not provide licensure, and it does not authorise the use of legally protected titles such as psychologist or psychotherapist where separate regulatory requirements apply. It is not a medical or psychological qualification.

Academic and professional foundations

The Kure Method® is evidence-informed rather than evidence-based as a whole. It integrates concepts drawn from my multidisciplinary education — genetics at Harvard HMX, neuroscience and child psychology, clinical hypnotherapy training, NLP, and applied positive psychology — together with weekly clinical practice. Where a specific element has a documented research base, the manuals cite it. Where the evidence is debated, the manuals say so.

Educational philosophy

Education becomes valuable when information can be understood, connected, recalled and applied.

So the curriculum emphasises structured progression: foundational concepts first, then integration, then application, then reflection.

Students are taught not only what to do, but the reasoning behind each stage of the methodology.

I did the fragmented studying already. My work as a teacher is to organise it into a path you can walk in order.

Programme policies

What you can expect, written down.

Enrolment terms: Admission is by application. Places are confirmed in writing once tuition or the first instalment is received.
Student responsibilities: Read the curriculum, attend or watch each lab, practise between labs, and submit assessment work on time.
Refund policy: Fourteen days from enrolment, in full, with no explanation needed.
Certificate policy: Certificates are issued only after all assessment requirements are met, and are signed personally.

Accessibility: Labs are recorded and captioned on request. Tell me what you need at application and I will adapt where I can.
